I love telling stories and creating unforgettable moments.
I'm a writer, editor, and producer based in Chicago. During the day I dream up creative content and social strategy including video, photo, and editorial campaigns for the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.
I'm also the founder and editor of HEAUXS, a website of smart, funny critiques of pop culture. Previously I served as the managing editor and fiction editor of the noted literary journal TriQuarterly.
My fiction and nonfiction have been published in places like McSweeney's, TriQuarterly, Chicago Magazine, PANK, and Role Reboot. I love connecting with audiences and have appeared as a storyteller in major venues including Steppenwolf Theater and City Winery. My one woman show MOTHER OF THE YEAR! debuted and returned to sold out crowds.
I received a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from Northwestern University and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Oregon, where I also taught creative writing, argumentative writing, and humanities courses.
